"I want to be understood, but instead, I'm often misunderstood and I become more afraid of communication."

"But over these three days, I experienced that even without language, we can truly understand others and be understood." This is what the participants of the silent retreat said.

Language is so natural, yet it seems to make us overly reliant on it. We forget how to communicate with others and with ourselves through sincerity and genuine feeling.

We invite you to give yourself a gift of purity this early winter and explore your intentions. In the natural surroundings of Pingxi, there are no languages, no excessive distractions, not even identities, labels, or names, only "tranquility."

During this retreat, follow the guide's steps and try different ways of meditation: dynamic meditation, art therapy, morning walking meditation. Each guided session brings us back to tranquility without the need for words but through mindful awareness of your thoughts and heartbeat - allowing your body to release stress and anxiety.

We also practice adjusting breathing rhythms and vocalization, returning to the soft state of infancy when we first learned to speak, relearning and feeling "vocalization." As the weather gradually turns colder, allow yourself a vacation in southern Taiwan where you ease your accumulated tension and fatigue in your body and eyes. During this journey, you’ll spend the weekend together in a Japanese-style house in the village. In this retreat, there’ll be mindfulness meditation, Ayurvedic healing practices, introspective sensory awareness, a communal kitchen, and a stress-relieving eye yoga session.

Guided by an understanding of Ayurveda's "Five Elements" that help balance the mind and body, we will discover some healing methods that are most suitable for each individual. Through the combination of Ayurvedic yoga stretches, we relieved and repaired the accumulated strain in our bodies.

Following the guidance for eye yoga, we will learn about the natural healing methods to relax and restore our eyes, adjust the frequency of our eyes, brains, bodies, and the external and internal health.

There are times when we create a conversation only because we feel like we “have to”. Living in a world full of noise, a silent retreat that includes not only daily meditation, but also Art Expression, Five Senses Exploration, and Mantra for Joy and Peace can bring us a deep and authentic self transformation simply by giving ourselves some “me-time”.

Waking up early in the morning in a silent little village, we’ll experience some yoga sessions to start off the day. In the afternoon, simply immerse ourselves in peace, find balance of our lives and regain the connection with our mind and body. At the beginning of the journey, we embark on a path of mindfulness, seeking guidance from diverse perspectives. Here, we release rigid definitions and constraints, enabling our hearts to expand and warmly embrace the unknown.

During the start of summer, gather with the community in the north coast of Taiwan, while exploring peace in nature and immerse in the lush greenery and shimmering waves, we’ll discuss Human Design through different practices.

Gently open up the five senses and perfectly welcome the time of self-exploration in the afternoon. Using the Human Design System as a map, let us rediscover the power of self, and rebuild our relationship with ourselves.

A Shamanic Healing Retreat

As we approach the end of summer, let’s join together with the community to unveil the mystery of shamanism. Through a completely different perspective, we experience how shamanism injects healing energy into our daily lives.

Through guided shamanic meditation, we connect with the four elements within our bodies which balances our internal energy and releases tension.

After releasing the mind and body, we will use everyday objects for healing purposes. We use water to balance our left and right brain hemispheres. We use rice to replenish the body's vitality. And last, we use salt to purify the chakras and balance our energy centers.

Next, we follow the guide to deepen our understanding of power animals in Shamanism. After knowing their strengths and wisdom, we will gain new inspiration and insights for our lives.

In the evening, gather around the campfire as we feel our power and engage in deep conversations.

Finally, we come together to enjoy a feast of vegetarian cuisine while exchanging stories with our companions, discussing shamanism and experiencing everyday healing.
