*Please note that this is an adult-exclusive retreat available to 16-year-olds and over.

*The retreat will proceed with a minimum of 8 attendees. If there are fewer than 8 attendees, we will notify you and issue a full refund one week before the retreat starts.

*Soul Barn has over 50 instructors from around the world, so the language used in each retreat falls into one of three categories:

  1. Fully Chinese / Fully English

  2. Bilingual option available (If needed, please inform us at least one week before the event)

  3. Mainly English, with slower pacing and occasional simple Chinese

This retreat falls under Categories 3.


 

For many people, “fasting” sounds like a challenge; however, it can be one of the most practical forms of rest we can give ourselves.

During this 12-hour experience, we’ll gently replace regular meals with juices and warm, nourishing broths. This allows the digestive system to pause, reset, and activate the body’s natural repair mechanisms.

You’ll learn what fasting truly does inside the body by preparing juices together, exploring light nourishment, and reconnecting with food through the process of making it. You’ll not only feel lighter, but also learn a sustainable framework you can integrate into daily life.

During the retreat, we’ll explore how to work towards a healthy Gut, gain a deeper understanding of the digestive system, and learn about the six stages of disease development, and of course, how to prevent illness.

Retreat Instructor: Liz

Liz, originally from South Africa, came to Taiwan by chance and has been living on this beautiful island for 30 years. Upon her arrival in Asia, Liz was deeply attracted to the traditional healing methods found across the continent. She admired Asia's traditional wisdom regarding health and longevity, which fueled her passion for in-depth research.

Liz has incorporated colon hydrotherapy into her daily routine for 8 years. Since 2015, she has also been promoting three-day fasting retreats in Taiwan, hoping to assist participants in discovering health habits that suit them and gradually making these habits part of their lifestyle, thus creating their own health habit maps.

As you step inside, the city noise fades, replaced by a calm, grounding quiet.

The Barn is a peaceful hideaway in the city — sunlight and fresh air flow through large windows, and the spacious terrace invites you to stretch, dance barefoot, or enjoy tea with friends as the sun sets.

The view of distant hills and sky brings a sense of everyday calm. If you look closely, you might spot the Maokong gondola slowly gliding across the skyline. The air feels light and clean, with a faint scent of wood.

Inside, there’s a cozy mix of wood, light, and plants that instantly makes you feel at home. It’s the kind of place where you can read, think, or just slow down for a bit.

You might realize that the peace you’ve been looking for has been right here the whole time.

If you’d prefer to have your own brand-new mat, simply select the “Add-On: Extra-Thick Exercise Mat” option on the registration form. We’ll prepare a new mat just for you - and you can take it home after the retreat.

  3. PAYMENT PROCESSED:
    Please proceed with the payment at your earliest convenience no later than 3 days after you receive our bank account information. Without receiving your payment, the booking system will cancel your reservation automatically.   4. RESERVATION COMPLETED:

Cancellation Policy 

Cancellations made 14 days or more in advance of the event date will receive a 100% refund.

Cancellations made between 2 - 13 days of the event will receive a 70% refund.

Cancellations made within 2 days of the event will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations made on the day of the event or during the event are non-refundable unless an emergency occurred and is provided with proof.

However, the booking can be transferred to a different person if you’re unable to attend.
