Have you ever asked yourself, “When everything goes quiet, can I really hear what’s inside me?”
In daily life, we’re surrounded by noise—messages, conversations, and endless to-do lists. With so many voices around us, we rarely make space to simply be with ourselves. So when silence finally arrives, it can feel strange or even uncomfortable.
This three-day retreat invites you to step into the mountains and let nature become your quiet companion. Mornings begin with meditation as the sun rises, afternoons with mindful walks through the forest, and nights under the stars with deep, gentle breaths—a simple return to yourself.
We won’t speak during these days. Instead, you’ll hear the sound of the wind through the trees, the flow of nearby water, and the rhythm of your own breath. In this shared silence, we learn to let go of defenses, to connect through a glance or a smile, and to support one another just by being here.
As the mind slows, thoughts begin to clear, emotions settle, and the body finds its natural balance. Silence is not about escaping the world—it’s a way to connect with it more deeply.
When you return to the city, you may notice that the calm and clarity you found here stay with you—helping you move through life with softness, steadiness, and a little more peace inside.
What To Expect
Wear your most comfortable clothes and bring environmentally friendly tableware.
Put down your phones and communicate with the world attentively.
Stay weird and stay unique.
Mindfulness Meditation and Body Relaxation: Yoanna
“In a world that is so fast paced, we all need to learn how to stay calm and move at our own pace.”
Yoanna has experienced healing and growth through Breathing Techniques, Yoga, and Meditation Practices, and she hopes to bring that experience to our attendees too.
In nature, we cultivated mindful awareness: “When you look, just look. When you listen, just listen. When you smell, taste, or touch, just do that. When you become aware, just be aware.” Through this non-judgmental practice, we opened ourselves up to a deeper, more present experience of the now.
*This session will be held in Mandarin
*This session can also be held in English and Chinese. Please contact @soulbarn official LINE account at least one week in advance if you need this service.

Space
Located in a quiet town at the foot of the mountains, this wooden house opens onto a grassy lawn surrounded by trees - and sometimes, you might even spot a giant tortoise slowly wandering across it!
The house was built by the owner and close friends, from collecting the wood to hand-finishing every detail. Each season brings its own atmosphere: fresh greens in spring, the sound of cicadas in summer, cool autumn air, and calm winter days.
Inside, warm wood furniture, tatami mats, and soft lighting make the space cozy and comfortable. You can wake up to the morning sun, watch the evening mist roll in, or simply sit quietly and listen to nature.
It’s a place to slow down and enjoy life’s simple things — a cup of tea, fresh air, and a peaceful afternoon.
Two types of accommodation is provided:
Shared Room
Mixed Gender Shared Room/ Female Shared Room
*Single Bed Mattress will be provided.
*Why is the accommodation shared? The purpose behind shared accommodation is to create closer bonds between the participants.
Private Room
(Only One Room available, perfect for attendees coming in pair)
*Want to live alone in a private room? Please send a private message to the official LINE @soulbarn.
