Autumn is the season to slow down.
As the sunlight softens and the air carries a sense of calm and introspection, it’s time to draw our energy inward — to return to ourselves.

When you sit quietly before the ocean, you’ll notice how emotions, like the tides, come and go — rising and falling with their own rhythm. You don’t need to rush to understand yourself; simply allow your emotions to be heard in the stillness of that vast space.

During these eight silent hours of inward retreat, we shift our attention from outward expression to inner observation — focusing solely on being with ourselves. You’ll find that silence opens the door to a deeper kind of listening — one that tunes into the body, the breath, and the quiet stirrings within.

Let’s move slowly through walking meditation, letting each step become a grounding ritual. Then, sink into the deep rest of sleep yoga, giving your nervous system space to breathe. Through breathwork and guided meditation, we gently witness the flow of emotions and thoughts.


This is a journey of gently returning to your inner rhythm—no rush to fix, no need for answers. Guided by Karina, a seasoned yoga guidance instructor with deep practice and teaching experience, you’ll be held in a steady, grounded space. With her presence, you’ll learn not to be swept away by emotions, but to see them clearly, hold them with care, and walk alongside them.

One-Day Silent Retreat: Karina

In this one-day silent retreat, Karina will guide participants through breathwork, walking meditation, seated stillness, and deep relaxation practices. With each step, you’ll gently release external noise and expectations, returning to the pure rhythm of your body and inner self. From this grounded, replenished state, you’ll rediscover a steady foundation for everyday life.

Karina was born in Argentina, South America and moved to Taiwan in 2006 to study Chinese. Her love for travel and yoga led her to countries like Austria and India to pursue her yoga training.  Karina has practiced yoga for more than 22 years and has more than 17 years of teaching experience around the world such as Spain, Portugal, France, England, Austria, Germany, Poland, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, India, Thailand, Canada, Italy and Lebanon. 

For the last few years, Pranayama and meditation has become Karina’s passion, as she realized her main purpose in life is to pass on the yoga teachings she has received. 

Her spiritual name given by the acharyas of the Sivananda School is “Prema”, which means “Divine Love” - not expecting to receive anything in return. Karina believes that no matter what culture, age, gender, or social condition, it all contains love. Through yoga, Karina hopes to spread this divine love to everyone around her.

In this retreat, Soul Barn Private Chef will cook Western Styled vegan meals that aim to break people’s stereotypes on vegan food through the ingredients and cooking method. For this retreat, only whole-food ingredients are used because at Soul Barn, we want to provide a healthy and balanced diet for everyone.

    With each gentle step in sync with the rhythm of the waves, let your mind quiet as your feet meet the earth—releasing scattered thoughts with every slow, steady movement.

  • Yoga Nidra and Relaxation

    Following lunch, you’ll engage in a 60-minute deep relaxation yoga practice, allowing your mind and body to fully unwind in the state of profound relaxation.

  • Breathing Techniques to Experience the Inner Silence

    Through simple breathing exercises (Pranayama), regulate your energy flow and nervous system, shifting from restlessness to calm. 

  • Guided Meditation on The Four Infinite Thoughts 
    We’ll close with a guided meditation centered on “emotional observation.” You’ll learn to witness your inner thoughts and feelings without judgment—gently allowing clarity and softness to emerge from within.

  3. PAYMENT PROCESSED:
    Please proceed with the payment at your earliest convenience no later than 3 days after you receive our bank account information. Without receiving your payment, the booking system will cancel your reservation automatically.   4. RESERVATION COMPLETED:

Cancellation Policy 

Cancellations made 14 days or more in advance of the event date will receive a 100% refund.

Cancellations made between 2 - 13 days of the event will receive a 70% refund.

Cancellations made within 2 days of the event will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations made on the day of the event or during the event are non-refundable unless an emergency occurred and is provided with proof.

However, the booking can be transferred to a different person if you’re unable to attend.
