What happens when we stop relying on what we can see?

Join us for a rooftop gathering exploring darkness through sound, movement, conversation, and food. With your eyes closed - and later fully blindfolded - you’ll be guided to move freely, listen more deeply, and experience familiar sensations in unexpected ways.

As the space grows darker, you may begin to notice details that usually fade into the background. A sound may feel closer. A simple movement may feel more honest. A conversation may become more present when there is nothing else to look at.

We’ll also share a blindfolded dinner, letting texture, temperature, and flavor lead the experience. When the blindfolds come off, we’ll return to one another with a fresh perspective, and end the evening with dinner under the night sky.

Come curious...and leave seeing things differently :)

The lights come back on, but the city may look a little different now. See you on The Barn rooftop.

Space

As you step inside, the city noise fades, replaced by a calm, grounding quiet.

The Barn is a peaceful hideaway in the city — sunlight and fresh air flow through large windows, and the spacious terrace invites you to stretch, dance barefoot, or enjoy tea with friends as the sun sets.

The view of distant hills and sky brings a sense of everyday calm. If you look closely, you might spot the Maokong gondola slowly gliding across the skyline. The air feels light and clean, with a faint scent of wood.

Inside, there’s a cozy mix of wood, light, and plants that instantly makes you feel at home. It’s the kind of place where you can read, think, or just slow down for a bit.

You might realize that the peace you’ve been looking for has been right here the whole time.

Nourish

Our private chefs will prepare a warm, plant-based meal designed to nourish both body and mind.

With years of curiosity and care for ingredients, they thoughtfully select seasonal produce from across Taiwan, allowing each ingredient to speak through simple, intentional cooking.

With over ten years of culinary experience, Roy has worked as head chef at several plant-based restaurants and received awards in international culinary competitions. His approach is rooted in bringing out the natural flavor of each ingredient through the method that suits it best.

Meanwhile, Nicki brings a softer, more intuitive touch to the table, working with simple, pure ingredients to create food that feels grounding, comforting, and quietly healing.

Together, they invite us to experience plant-based cuisine in a way that is thoughtful, layered, and full of warmth - a reminder that food can be both healthy and deeply satisfying.
