You notice everything. The shift in someone's tone, the hum of a crowded room, the feeling that lingers long after everyone else has moved on.

When did that start feeling like so much?

This is an invitation to step into the forest and simply rest. A retreat made for highly sensitive people, where restoring your energy and returning to yourself is the only thing on the agenda.

Through meditation, mindfulness, and somatic awareness, we'll gently release what's been building beneath the surface, ease the tension you've been carrying, and quiet the noise within. Together, we create the conditions for your nervous system to soften, making space for something quieter to emerge.

We'll also spend time understanding what it means to be highly sensitive. Not as a difficulty to overcome, but as a way of being in the world. The sensitivity that makes you feel so much is the same thing that allows you to notice beauty others miss, to connect deeply, to sense what's unsaid. We'll explore how to understand your sensitivity, care for it, and gradually let it become something you trust.

With gentle guidance, you'll find practical ways to care for yourself across the different parts of daily life, so that returning to the world feels a little less like bracing for it.

And throughout it all, you'll be in the company of people who understand. Who feel things the way you do. In that kind of space, there's no need to explain yourself. You can simply arrive, as you are, and be met.

Relaxation Guidance for Highly Sensitive People: Liz

Originally from South Africa, Liz Coetzee came to Taiwan by chance and has been living here for thirty years. Upon her arrival, she was deeply drawn to the traditional healing wisdom of Taiwan and Southeast Asia, which sparked her lifelong exploration of balance, well-being, and longevity for both body and mind. In 2012, she founded Rangoli Health, inspired by the vibrant Rangoli motifs of India’s Diwali Festival—symbols of wholeness and interconnectedness—embodying her philosophy of integrative healing.

As a guide for highly sensitive people, Liz specializes in sound healing, meditation, mindfulness practices, and body awareness to help participants soothe the nervous system, release stress, and reconnect with inner calm and strength. She believes that sensitivity is not a burden, but an innate gift—one that allows for deeper empathy, connection, and insight. With her guidance, you will learn to treat yourself with gentleness, embrace the value of sensitivity, and rediscover balance and ease in everyday life.

*This retreat will be held in English.

Space

Nestled in the mountains of Wulai, Fusen Banzhi rests quietly beside the forest — a hidden retreat often wrapped in mist.

Surrounded by lush greenery and fresh mountain air, the space carries the gentle sounds of nature - birdsong, rustling leaves, flowing water — a melody that welcomes you home.

“You can feel the forest breathe here.” Follow the moss-covered steps and winding paths to a space where you can release the weight of daily life and simply be.

Time moves slower here, giving your heart a chance to return to calm and stillness.

*Note: The property includes stairways.

Nourish

Surrounded by mountains and forests, Fusen Banzhi Trio takes inspiration from indigenous food culture, bringing early foraging memories and the simple flavors of nature onto the table. We choose seasonal, local ingredients in their most natural form, and with gentle, thoughtful cooking, each dish shows a bit of the land’s personality—filled with the scent of the forest and a touch of sunlight.

As you sit with nature all around you, your body and mind naturally soften, daily stress loosens its grip, and what’s left is a sense of lightness that feels quietly nourishing.
